Boilers and in-floor heat are what keep Alberta shops, garages, and acreage homes genuinely comfortable. We install, repair, and service hydronic systems with the certified expertise they need.
A boiler system is a loop of pumps, valves, and controls that all have to work together. We go beneath the surface on these systems rather than swapping the obvious part and hoping, so your heat stays steady through the worst of winter.
Did you know? Annual boiler servicing can help maintain efficiency, catch potential issues early, and extend the life of your system.
High-efficiency boilers sized, vented, and commissioned to Alberta code.
Pressure loss, short cycling, dead pumps, and no-heat calls diagnosed.
In-floor loops for shops, garages, basements, and acreage builds.
Yearly checks on combustion, glycol, expansion tanks, and controls.
Boilers are the deep end of residential heating. Sizing, glycol ratios, expansion, zone controls, and combustion venting all interact, and a system set up wrong will short cycle, lose pressure, or freeze up. Our licensed plumbers and gasfitters commission these systems properly, document what was done, and warranty the workmanship for a year.

We map the loop, controls, and heat load before quoting anything. Guessing at a boiler size is how systems end up short cycling.
You get the repair path and the replacement path with real numbers. We tell you which one we'd choose in your shoes.
We install to code, purge and balance the loops, and set the controls. Permits and inspections are handled for you.
We walk you through the system so you know how everything works. We register all new equipment we install, so it's never forgotten and you get the most from the warranty. Ask us about our exclusive 10-year extended warranty on select products.
The questions Central Alberta homeowners and shop owners ask us most about hydronic heating systems.

A furnace heats air and blows it through ducts. A boiler heats water and circulates it through in-floor tubing, baseboards, or radiators, which gives a steadier, quieter heat with no drafts. Boilers are common in Central Alberta shops, garages, and acreage homes because in-floor heat handles cold concrete well.
Often yes, though it depends on the space. New slabs, garages, shops, and basement renovations are the best candidates because the tubing goes in before the concrete or subfloor. For finished living space we'll look at what's realistic and tell you honestly if the disruption isn't worth it.
Once a year. An annual service checks combustion, cleans the heat exchanger, tests the expansion tank and pressure relief valve, and verifies the circulating pumps and glycol level. Skipping it is how a small pressure or pump problem turns into a no-heat call in February.
Usually a leak somewhere in the loop, a waterlogged expansion tank, or a failing pressure relief valve. Topping it up over and over hides the problem and can corrode the system from the inside. We find where the pressure is actually going and fix the cause, not just the symptom.
A well-maintained boiler commonly runs 15 to 25 years, longer than most furnaces. The pumps, valves, and expansion tank usually need attention before the boiler itself does. We'll tell you which components are worth replacing and when the whole unit has genuinely reached the end.
